Dear first graders,

A month ago you came to our high school. We're excited to welcome you here! We hope that the days you'll spend here will be full of enjoyment. We're glad to provide you with plenty of great tips and tricks, which will help you manage your upcoming years in high school.

Firstly, try your best not to compare yourself to others. Moreover, it's important to be true to yourself. You'll find your group of friends that will support you and appreciate you for who you are. Also don't forget that your personal life takes priority over the school one.

Secondly, try to make new friends and be sociable with your class. It's okay to be shy in the beginning, but trust us, you'll adapt to this new chapter of your lives and you'll be just fine. Another thing are the grades. They can get worse but it doesn't mean you are bad at school. The subjects here are more complicated than you were used to.

Thirdly, if you don't understand something, don't be afraid to speak up and ask the teacher for an explanation. Furthermore, start thinking about what you want to study further and which career path you wish to take. It's never too early to start preparing for your future.

Last but not least, we want you to feel welcomed in our school. We hope you'll enjoy your time here and make unforgettable memories.
